Social media is very good for some, it’s a very bad place for some. If you have an instagram account and you no longer want to use it, you can freeze your account. I’m one of those people who doesn’t want to use it anymore. So I’m going to tell you how to do it through my own account. Let’s get started.
First, we must log in from the web browser so that we can do this. This process cannot be done through the mobile application.
After we log in, we go to our profile. We’re clicking on the thumbnail profile on the right.

On the pop-up profile page, we press the edit profile button at the top.

A page with information about our profile will appear. At the bottom of this page we will see a post that says, “Temporarily close my account.” Let’s click on this.

After clicking on this article, we encounter a screen with information about the next process. After doing this, he says the account will be confidential and we can only do this once a week. I mean, he’s telling him in advance that we’re never going to be able to freeze again in a week after we freeze our account and reopen it 🙂
He wants us to choose an option as the reason for closing the account, and after selecting this option, he expects us to enter the password for our account at the bottom. Once we have entered the password, we press the “Temporarily close account” button.

After pressing this button, there’s going to be a window asking if we’re sure we don’t want to freeze our account. So he’s doing everything he can to keep our account frozen.

Then, when we click the “yes” button as a transaction, our account will be frozen. If we don’t log on to Instagram again, our account will remain confidential. So no one’s going to get to our account.
Why did we choose the ice cream process instead of deleting the account completely? because there may be important services that we log in to Instagram. That’s why we might need to use our Instagram account again for this. If we need to use it again, we can reactivate the account by logging in.
