Favicon is a small picture that appears next to the title (tittle) section of the websites. It is frequently used to brand both visuality and the site.
So I took this Saturday night into this job, and I started to tell myself what happened and make myself a favicon.
If you’re opening a lot of pages in the browser and disappearing between them, you can find it very comfortably and switch to which site you want to go to from this favicon. As the pages get smaller, the title sections go away and only favicon sections appear.
Favicon is the lowest size of 16×16, adjustable to larger (32×32, 64×64, 128×128). Favicon is an acronym for favorites icon. In modern browsers, many image formats are supported, but in general, images with the .ico extension are used.
There are many websites available to create an con. You can select and use one of the ready.ico pictures if you want, and you can create and use it yourself. I chose to create it myself. I can recommend this site as you wish for turkish language support.
I continue assuming you have created your icon file. Connect to your website with FTP, discard your .ico image in the main directory and<head>….</head> type the following among the tags:
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon">
Congratulations 🙂 now you have a favicona
